Symptoms of Type Two Diabetes

Type II diabetes is characterized by following symptoms.
- Polyuria - Frequent urination
- Polydipsia - Increased Thirst
- Polyphagia - Increased Appetite
The above symptoms develop very slowly in Type 2 Diabetes. In some cases these symptoms may be subtle or absent. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus if poorly controlled may experience :
- Weight Loss despite normal or increased eating
- Irreducible fatigue
- Blurred Vision - High blood glucose level for long results in change in the shape of eye lens affecting the normal vision
- Dehydration
In some rare cases the following may develop :
Hyperosmolar NonKetotic State , a diabetic coma condition caused due to dehydration as a result of polyuria.
